Michael Lally -- Owner, Upstate Builders

Born and raised in Geneva, Mike lived and worked in the area until the mid 1980's, where his love of building took him to Florida to pursue larger projects. He became a Florida certified general contractor and started building mini warehouses and large upscale custom homes. His aptitude for business and real estate development allowed him to grow that business, earning awards for his homes along the way. Today Upstate Builders, Inc. is a sought after luxury home builder. Lally helped start FRIENDS (For Residence in Emergency Need of Donated Services), a non-profit organization completing 100% donated homes and working with Habitat for Humanity. Michael sat on the board of directors of the Treasure Coast Builders Association, where he has received several awards in appreciation for his services with this organization. Always interested in business opportunities and investments, Lally is an investor with a Florida travel agency and a waste management company. He is also a Florida state building contractor and a United Stated Coast Guard Merchant Marine Captain.

History

Regatta Constructions partners have over eighty years of combined experience building premium homes in some of the finest communities in Florida, including the Reserve, Bermuda Club, Island Club and PGA Village. Today they enjoy an extended family of loyal clients from Miami to Melbourne, Florida.

Communities

In 2002 Regatta Construction branched out from its custom home business to open the first Regatta Quality Community, Riverwind – a single-family home community in Vero Beach. The Treasure Coast Builders’ Association immediately awarded Riverwind the Parade of Homes Grand Platinum award for its Beaumonte model and has since recognized the community with numerous other awards.

Riverwind was soon followed by Bridgepointe, a 166-unit townhome community across from Riverwind on Indian River Boulevard in Vero Beach. Diamond Court Village is now under construction and Regatta recently announced plans to develop Diamond Court West on Indian River Boulevard at 41st Street. In addition, Regatta is actively involved in developing the Regatta Exclusive Communities of Tuscany Estates and the The Falls of Palm Bay.

In addition to its communities, Regatta's portfolio has grown steadily and includes single-family homes from Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Brevard counties.
